About
There is no studio behind this name. Citradox is me — Eder, working alone in the United States. The name exists because software needs something to ship under, not because there is an office somewhere with a sign on it. When you email support, I am the one who reads it.
What I build
Small, finished games. I would rather ship one thing that is complete and quiet than five things that are demos. Cribbage! is the first one out: a card game your grandparents played, with a proper board, a stubborn opponent, and somewhere to put the pegs. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux and SteamOS, because a game this size has no excuse not to.
The work I like is the unglamorous part — getting the scoring exactly right, making the opponent play like a person instead of a dice roll, making sure the thing still works on a laptop from 2014. Most of what I put in writing is that.
Why this site is so plain
Every file this site loads comes from this domain. No web fonts, no CDN, no analytics, no embedded video, no share buttons that phone home. That is a hard rule rather than a preference, and it comes from a simple test: the privacy policy tells you that the game does not track you, so the page saying so had better be true of itself.
Pulling a font from a CDN would hand every visitor's IP address to a third party — on a privacy policy, of all places, and a practice a German court has already found unlawful without consent. So there is no display font here at all: every word on this site is set in whatever your system already has. It costs the site a little polish. It is worth it.
The same rule applies to the games. If a build of mine ever needs to talk to a server, the privacy policy will say exactly what it sends and why, in language you do not need a lawyer for.
Getting in touch
[email protected] reaches me directly — bugs, questions, a save file that broke, or anything about your data. If you are writing about the game or need assets for a video, email me and ask; you will get a reply from the person who made it.
